Welp, here it is at last, the second issue of my Skyrim fanfic, to think, that only a month ago I uploaded the very first issue and in another month I came up with a new one, I don't think I have ever worked so much in my life
Thing is, I felt the last one received a lot of attention, WAY more than I expected, and well, it kinda felt GOOD, really good, I mean, I know I'm only getting popular because this great game is a world-renown masterpiece loved my many, and that I should be lucky if my ORIGINAL stories get half as much attention as this fanfic.
But, to Oblivion with that, it makes me happy that some people get interested on this anyway it inspires me, and it makes me work hard against my own will
Anyways, bad news, the next episode is gonna be a little shorter, but I promise it will be action-packed, it's only that a comic con is approaching to my city, and I need to work on my own stuff to sell there, I can't exactly go selling this Skyrim comic, can I? I mean, I would love to, but that would land me to jail ASAP
Well, that's it, hope you all liked it, and please leave your thoughts on this comic on the comments section, I enjoy reading them
This is very good, I like your artstyle a lot and I hope to see more of this comic. Funny thing is, Ondelmar seems a lot more sly and snarky here than in the game XD
Yeah, Ondolemar gets very few lines in-game, though, he says one of the NICEST things an NPC could say in Skyrim "there are so few pleasures in life as fine as your company!", heh, I'm a dude, and even that flatters me.
As good as this comic is, I'd like to ask a few questions.
Firstly, the Dominion took an incredible risk here. There was no guarantee that the Dragonborn would give them a chance to use that scroll on her, so waiting for a pause seemed like a poor strategy.
Secondly, given the Dominion's usual interrogation/learn-about-your-enemies style, wouldn't it make more sense for them to capture her rather than kill her? She does, after all, have an ability they don't I'd imagine they'd want to learn how she can do what she does so they can use it themselves in future.
1. This is just a small task force of the Dominion, and, like Ondolemar said, they had already taken Whiterun, there's no reason not to assume that they haven't taken over other cities and holds as well, this attack was just a part of the rolling over they're doing.
As you can see, death is not the end of things for the Thalmor, at least not after Ondolemar used Revenant on the dead soldiers, even if they had killed the Dragonborn, they would've found a use for her
