Okay, so one of my favorite TV shows ever finally ended today.
I didn't even know it was ending until today when my cousin told me while the episode had already started, truth is, I had stopped watching House LONG ago, probably stopped caring by season 5, I would still watch season finales or the random episode, but I didn't really care much.
Today's last episode was pretty much what you would expect out of a show that has been squeezed dry by Fox, in the end, House became a liberal, I was hoping House would end with more dignity, like DYING, but I knew that was a long shot since Wilson was already dying, and two great characters can't die at once, let it be a lesson, children

Anyway, the only thing I was happy about watching this episode is the same as watching LOST's series finale: I was SO glad I didn't watched half of the seasons after the show started sucking balls.
I guess it's kinda sad, 'cause I loved House, LOVED, heck, even before I started watching it some people begged me to watch it 'cos I reminded them of house

the first three seasons were godly, I LOVE watching them over and over, then then, the big change came after season 4 and everything went to shit, if you ask me, House should've ended by then (season 4), not ANOTHER 4 seasons later.
What I hated, is that the show started to focus a lot, if not completely on House's personal life, the medical mysteries were second, but House's state of mind came first, the underlying problem on modern House episodes (post-season 4), was that House was lost in a liberal world and he couldn't cope with it, he tried, he actually succeeded, but then returned to fail.
But House wasn't made to be liberal, he he had just been a tight ultra-conservative motherfucker, he had gone down in (fictional) history as one of the biggest geniuses of all time, he wouldn't even need Vicodin, Vicodin would NEED him!
Now let's talk about partners, in all of the show, House never had a stable relationship, so when he finally tries and succeeds on season 7 after scoring with Cuddy, I think it's already TOO late, like 3 seasons too late, Cuddy was already WAY too different than in the beginning of the series: she was a mom, and House was having trouble being a person, how the fuck did he think things were gonna end up? Huddy were VERY irresponsible people if you ask me, well, House couldn't know 'cause he doesn't know anything about life, but Cuddy should've been a LOT more considerate, she was a mom, her first duty was her child, even if adopted, she shouldn't have been worried about a middle-aged man who behaves like an emo teen, no, and as much as I hated Lucas, he was a better partner to Cuddy because he at least seemed interested in parenting.
Oh, and how House broke with Cuddy, children, if you ever decide to break-up with your boyfriend/girlfriend, do it on the internet, seriously, NOT in person, because you'll be highly impulsive and prone to do the STUPIDEST things you can imagine, like House, who just decided to crash his car into Cuddy's house, seriously, what kind of education is TV giving us today, I know it's fiction, but teenagers have always been stupid as it is, do they really need a genius encouraging them to do hazardous shit like this when they have a break-up? And since this looks like it's House-approved, they'll probably think it's just a highly justified action!
So no, IMO, House shouldn't have dated Cuddy after she became a mom, if you're a sociopath, that's the last thing you want, again, IMO, I think that House and Cuddy should've dated on season 3 or 4, that was the best time for the two and there were a couple of episodes where they flirted.
Heck, it would had even been better if House dated Cameron, although, not permanently, just y'know, until he banged her just so to satisfy his curiosity, Chase and Cameron made a very cute couple, another thing they spoiled and killed ._.
Fuck, even that hot CIA woman that was hired and fired on the next episode was a good House prospective, but as always, the writers gave House the tact of a teenager, so when he fired her, he also humiliated her, and you just don't do that, but House was probably scared because he became stupid around her, someone should've given him better advice like "don't worry buddy, we all go through that, a hot girl shows up and we become stupid, happens all the time, what you have to do, is give it time to settle with it, if you keep being stupid, the sure, fire her, but do it politely and private, and giving a rational explanation couldn't hurt, like "you know, I feel something for you and it's not letting me focus at work, and you're not exactly bringing useful stuff to the cases as I need, so, let's do this, we'll try this on other 2 cases, if it's the same, then I'm afraid I'll need to let you go"" or something, geez! If I, a genuine sociopath, can think simple stuff like this, then why not a WHOLE BUNCH OF INTELLIGENT DOCTORS??
Anyway, I guess that's all for today, didn't mean to be this long, if you've read it, thanks, if you didn't, I understand, I just wanted to get this off my chest ._.
